The Scruffy Nazarene

A place for us to share the Word that God has laid on our hearts.

Welcome

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105

Hey Y’all,
Welcome to our official blog written by Mrs. Scruffy and podcast by Mr. Scruffy hub! We are thrilled to begin this journey of exploring God’s Word together through the lens of Nazarene theology, which emphasizes the transformative power of holiness, grace, and Christian living.

This blog accompanies the Scruffy Nazarene, a biblical teaching and discussion podcast rooted in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition of the Church of the Nazarene.  Whether you are a longtime Nazarene, a new believer, or just curious about what it means to live a life fully surrendered to Christ, you are in the right place.

Here is what you can expect from this space:

  • 📖 Scripture-centered reflections with bi-weekly podcast highlights
  • 🎙️ Guest interviews with pastors, scholars, and lay leaders in the Nazarene community
  • 🛠️ Practical discipleship tools grounded in holiness teaching
  • 🙏 Opportunities to engage with questions, comments, and prayer requests

This is more than a podcast. It is a place for community, spiritual growth, and deepening our walk with Jesus.

As we launch this new ministry, we invite you to subscribe, share, and most importantly, pray with us. May this space become a small part of God’s larger work in your life.
